The site is approximately thirty-two acres and currently consists of three channels conveying irrigation return flow through the site. A dam at the downstream end of the site, which was constructed to elevate the water surface for purposes of irrigation, has been flanked in recent years and is now a fish passage barrier. The design includes four widened channels to convey water through the site, with roughened channel segments designed to allow for fish passage while dropping elevation down the channel. Hummocks are also included with vertical habitat logs to provide habitat for a variety of wildlife. Construction of this project is planned for the summer of 2016.
