Brent is a Registered Professional Engineer in California with over fifteen years of experience in a range of water resources applications. As an engineer, he focuses on issues surrounding surface water management, and more specifically, stream restoration and stabilization projects. Prior to becoming an engineer, Brent worked as a scientist for two and one-half years on resource management projects. His experience with native flora, fauna and California ecology are valuable tools when working on engineering projects which have a resource management component.
Throughout his career, he has participated in the planning, design, permitting and construction supervision of numerous projects for both private and public clients. Brent’s current responsibilities include: project management, field and topographic surveying, engineering design, plan preparation, and hydraulic/hydrologic and geomorphic analysis for application in planning and design related to river, stream, wetland and habitat enhancement projects in California and Oregon.
