Civil/Water Resources Engineer

Responsibilities will include:

  • Project management, project development, and marketing
  • Development of detailed Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimates
  • Preparation of calculations, reports, and permit applications
  • Topographic surveying and map development
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
  • Construction staking, observation, and post-construction monitoring

The ideal candidate shall have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering (or related field). CA PE license preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the field of water resources or environmental restoration
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC RAS
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with non-engineering staff
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel (typically a few days/month)

 

Entry Level Civil/Water Resources Engineer

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting support to Senior Engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Topographic surveying and map development
  • Calculations and Cost Estimating
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling

The ideal candidate shall have:

  • One year of experience in civil engineering using AutoCAD Civil 3D (candidates with less experience will be considered)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering (or related field)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the field of water resources or environmental restoration
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with non-engineering staff
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel (typically a few days/month)
