Deanna Hutchinson is a certified Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) and environmental scientist. She has six years of experience as a civil designer with a focus on sustainable design and stormwater management. Her scientific training emphasized stream, wetland, and forest ecosystems. Her past experience includes hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, land and stream surveying, erosion control planning and inspection, wetland monitoring, water quality monitoring, fish removal, watershed assessments and planning, stormwater design, and sustainable and low-impact design.
Her current role is to assist Waterways project managers with project plan development and implementation in both field and office settings by applying her experience in CAD drafting, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, land surveying, and engineering design.
